Yes, it's soap !

Posted by Lisa Swaine on

Our Dry soap powder cuts back on waste due to being lighter and in a concentrated powdered form which not only helps the environment but also can be handier to have when you're out and about. Just give it a shake on to the palm of your hands and add a splash of water! Your hands will be cleansed by the smooth silky velvety texture of the powdered hand soap and left feeling moisturised and cleansed.

So what is it made up of?
The main ingredient that we use is our tropical favourite, the coconut!

The benefits of coconut milk powder.

One of the best-known natural products in the skincare world is coconut oil. The fact that it can be used as a cleanser, moisturizer, and hair mask explains why it is a lnatural hero. Most skincare experts say that the benefits of coconut milk on skin are potentially just as good (if not better) than those of its oil-based twin.
The goodness of coconut helps treat dry, dull, and damaged skin. It acts as a deep and nourishing moisturizer, especially while treating skin problems such as eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis. So for these reasons that's why we use it in our soap powder - to nourish your skin.

What is the cleansing and foaming ingredient?
Sometimes known as 'baby foam' Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) is called this because it is known to be very gentle on the skin. It is sulphate free and so not to be confused with the surfactant Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS).
Sodium cocoyl isethionate is a natural ingredient that is derived from coconuts, specifically coconut oil. The process includes mixing a natural sulfonic acid called isethionic acid with the fatty acids that naturally occur in coconut oil.

Our other ingredients include Rice Starch and Aloe Vera powder.

Our dry Soap ticks all the box and is great for popping in your bag, as you never know when you'll have to make a visit to public toilets that haven't got any soap left. We hope you enjoy using it!
